Everyone knows they should eat more Spinach.  And notice that Popeye becomes strong after eating Spinach.  With only 19.55 calories in 1/4 bunch serving Spinach packs 2.43 grams of protein.  Popeye doesn’t become strong just for fun.  It’s related to the protein in Spinach.

You will consume vitamin A and K needs for the day with 1 serving of Spinach.  There is also a decent amount of iron along with magnesium.  Both minerals help the body produce melatonin, which is how the body brings about sleep.  Spinach makes it to my top 2 list of foods to consume but a part of me wants to bump it up to the top list simply because there are so many minerals in relation to the number of calories found in Spinach.  Serving size = 1/4 bunch from Chronometer.
